Chappell Roan has decided to pull out of her scheduled performances at the All Things Go Festival this weekend to focus on her health. She shared a message on social media, explaining that recent weeks have been incredibly overwhelming and she needs time to regroup.

“I’m really sorry to everyone who was looking forward to seeing me in NYC and DC, but I won’t be able to perform this weekend,” Chappell wrote. “Things have been a bit too much lately, and I really need to take some time to prioritize my health.”

In response, the All Things Go Festival expressed their support, encouraging fans to show understanding and rally around Chappell. “We fully support her decision to prioritize her well-being,” they posted. “It’s important to stand by the artists we love, not just for their art, but for their personal health too.”

This decision comes as Chappell continues her “Midwest Princess Tour,” which spans across North America and Europe in support of her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time she’s had to make adjustments to her tour schedule. A few weeks ago, Chappell faced backlash over comments she made about the 2024 presidential election. She later clarified her stance in a TikTok video, stating, “I’m voting for Kamala Harris, but I’ll always question those in power. That’s just who I am.”

Beyond her music and political commentary, Chappell has been candid about the challenges of her growing fame, highlighting some inappropriate fan interactions and the pressure to meet expectations. Earlier this summer, she shared on social media, “I’ve faced too many uncomfortable situations, and I want to remind everyone that no one owes anyone their time or attention just because they’re in the public eye. I chose music because I love it—not to deal with harassment.”

This openness has garnered her both support and criticism, but Chappell remains committed to her principles. “I’m always going to stand up for what’s right,” she said, addressing her fans. “I need to take this time for myself, so when I’m back, I can give you the best show possible.”
